Bill Moran is an American performance poet and a former medic. He is a two-time Austin Poetry Slam Champion, has an MFA in Poetry from Louisiana State University, and has toured through Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the US. His work has been featured in Button Poetry, The Dead Animal Handbook (University of Hell Press), Alien Mouth, and Pressure Gauge Press. His solo debut book, Oh God Get Out Get Out, is now available through Write Bloody Publishing.
He cites the work of Jack McCarthy as a poet he admires because “his poetry explores how the poem can house the ugliness we carry in us, how it is a space we may grow into, and how writing it may clear a path to navigate this ugliness.”
