Caroline Baum


Caroline Baum is a well-known journalist and broadcaster. She writes about books, food, travel, the arts and aspects of contemporary life. She has had several autobiographical pieces published in Good Weekend magazine. In 2013, she contributed to My Mother, My Father: On Losing A Parent, an anthology edited by Susan Wyndham for Allen & Unwin. In 2015, she was awarded the Hazel Rowley Fellowship and, in 2016, she contributed to the Rebellious Daughters anthology, published by Ventura Press.

Caroline Baum is the author of Only, a memoir published in 2017 by Allen & Unwin. John Purcell Of Booktopia described the work as “utterly brilliant. Sophisticated, honest, enlightening, entertaining and beautifully written.”

Away from her writing work, Caroline exhibits photography and has created a collection for Designer Rugs called SandScript.
